The use of Shipping Containers in construction has become the new wave of prefabricated/modular construction in our industry. This project is a Mid Rise development where the lower commercial component is traditional masonry and structural steel, and upper structure are these shipping containers retrofitted into various units with furred walls, plumbing rough-ins, windows, doors and balconies constructed, then stacked into place to create this development.

Decommissioned Shipping Containers offers an alternative to conventional construction as well as a Green recycles element which becomes a welcome choice to developers, local municipalities and contractors alike.
